Manoir Princesse is a beautiful manor house situated in the charming medieval village of Chalus. This gorgeous 4 bedroom house has its own private swimming pool and perfect combines charm, character and comfort.

The house is very private, fenced by high walls and trees, and the pool has a lovely paved terrace around it. There are serveral tables, chairs and parasols scattered around the garden, as well as a special bbq area - perfect for summer dining.

Ground Floor: Entrance hall, small office, 2 WCs, games room, french land kitchen with oak table, fridge - freezer, microwave, oven, toaster, coffee machine, cooking utensils and dishwasher. The utility room comes with Siemens washing machine, dryer, iron & board. The sitting room opens on to the pool and terrace area through a large double glass door. There are comfortable furnishings including a very large leather sofa. The sitting room leads into the dining room through a double glass door. It is furnished with lovely Danish furniture and can seat 18 for dinner.

First Floor: 3 large bedrooms, one with an extra dressing room. All the bedrooms have got there own WC/shower.

Second Floor: There is a nice little double bedroom with its own WC/shower. The house has full central heating as well as working fireplaces.

In the garden it is possible to play croquet, beach tennis, and table tennis. The swimming pool is surrounded by an attractive paved terrace.

The local town of Chalus is well equipped with amenities, and you will find a range of service industries as well as plenty of local shops, schools, medical care and supermarkets. Chalus has history and culture too, with its Lionheart connections, its street markets and lovely honey - coloured stone houses. There are several lovely restaurants and coffee shops as well as a recreational area with children's playground.

Chalus and its immediate area offers lots of sport and leisure opportunities. Limousin is known as "Lakeland", with many beautiful lakes where you can take part in water sports, swim, sunbathe, rowing, canoeing etc.

6km away is the very famous Chateau Montbrun which is one of the most beautiful chateaux in France and open to visitors. Also nearby is the remembrance village of Oradour sur Glane, which is preserved as a living monument to those who died in the war.

Limoges, about 35km from Chalus, is the capital of porcelain and a short drive away, with the more touristy spots of Sarlat, Domme, Bergerac and Ezylat an easy day trip away.

At Bussiere Galant, which is a cycle ride or short drive away, there is an activity centre with a lake and beach for swimming. It has a toddlers' paddling area, volley ball, crazy golf, fishing, tennis and boules. It has also an adventure climb through the forest which is a huge hit with children, teenagers and indeed adults of all ages. There is also horse riding, canoeing, tennis, donkey trails, cross-country cycling, quad biking and golf locally.
