Babysitting can be organised and paid for locally. In the village there is a small restaurant serving very good value meals (approx 12 -16 euros for 3 courses), with a menu that changes daily. The restaurant is only a short walk from the chateau. The owner of the restaurant is also available , by prior arrangement to occasionally "outside cater" eg: he may come to the chateau and cook for a special meal, he has done this before for us. He also does very good "take away", not a fast food type take away, but whatever is on the days menu can be pre ordered to take away.
