Chateau Du Pontone

The charming Chateau du Pontone is situated within a beautifully manicured private park in the heart of the Loire Valley. This French holiday chateau is perfect for exploring the Loire Valley and is only minutes away from some of the great Loire chateaux.

The Chateau de Pontone has a private swimming pool and a beautiful terrace set within its fantastic grounds. Each of its spacious bedrooms has a luxury en-suite bathroom and sleeps up to 12 guests in total. The chateau offers a concierge service to ensure your vacation runs perfectly to plan. This is a fully catered venue allowing you to put your feet up for the week and simply kick-back and relax. This luxury chateau rental comes complete with a cook and a maid. The rental rate includes breakfast each morning and a complimentary evening drink. Additional catering is extra.

Built in the 14th Century, the Chateau du Pontone originally served as the headquarters for the salt tax collectors of the Kings of France.

On the ground floor there is an excellent grand salon, the dining room, a modern kitchen and a library with Wi-Fi internet access. The Lower Tower double bedroom is situated on the ground floor, and has full en-suite bathroom facilties.

On the first floor there are 3 large double bedrooms, and the 2 bedroom suite. Each room has its own en-suite bathroom.

In the grounds there is an attractive dining terrace, the private swimming pool and beautiful gardens. The chateau enjoys 5 acres of private land.

Daily maid service, a full-time concierge & continental breakfast is all provided within the rental price. A full-time chef can be employed for your stay and menus can be planned and approved in advance of your stay.

Additionally, the on-site concierge will assist you in booking reservations for helicopter tours, chateau tours, hot air balloon rides, horseback riding, bicycle tours, private car tours, wine tours, and restaurants.

Please note that your group will not have access to a self catering kitchen during your stay as this is a catered chateau. The website price is for accommodation only and your staff and catering arrangements and costs should be discussed with the owner prior to booking.
