La Maloubert

This charming French manor dates from the 14th century and sits within a refined country estate. Located in Drome Provencale, just South of Montelimar, this French holiday rental is perfectly located for exploring everything this part of southern France has to offer.

La Maloubert is situated a few miles south of Montelimar in Provence. This part of Provence is home to many fruit & truffle plantations and vineyards. Spectacular views of the magnificant Ardeche mountain range are on one side and sunny Provence is right on the doorstep.

The house sleeps twelve people in seven bedrooms and there is an expansive sitting room with a plasma TV, Bose stereo system and wi-fi internet access. Outside the house has a 12x5m salt water swimming pool, a lovely garden complete with a private forest. There is also a petanque court to complete the experience.

The house comprises 450m2 of luxury living space with 7 bedrooms, exclusive wine cellar, a large fully equipped kitchen with open fireplace and an expansive sitting room with plasma tv, bose stereo and Wi-Fi internet access.

Totalling 2 acres, the grounds are made up of a typical French garden and a private forest. The 200m2 courtyard and the three terraces give you plenty of choice to relax and savour the lifestyle in Southern France. There is also a 12x5m salt water swimming pool and its own petanque court to complete the experience.

The nearest airports are Avignon (75km), Montpellier (140km), Lyon & Marseilles (180km). The nearest town is Montelimar just 10km away.

The property is located outside Montelimar, in La Drome 40 km north of Avignon.

A live-in caretaker couple is available to assist you with advice and recommendations for what to do and see in the region. They will also take care of the pool and garden during your stay.

Arrangements can be made for a local chef to create a culinary experience according to your preference. Advance notice is required.

- Security deposit: €1000. This is paid on arrival and will be refunded in full after departure subject to damage inspection.
- Linen & towels: All linen and bath towels are included in the rental price.
- Energy costs: Included in the rental price.
- End of stay cleaning: €150.
- Arrival time: 4pm onwards.
- Departure time: 10am.
- Pets: No pets allowed.
- Smoking: No smoking in the property.
- It is recommended that all guests take out insurance to cover against potential cancellation and any accidental damage caused during your stay at the property.
