Chateau Genoise

This magnificent 17th century Chateau Genoise in the South of France was named by Vogue Magazine as one of the most beautiful private estates in the South of France. Situated in Puyricard, only 4 miles north of the beautiful Provencal city of Aix-en-Provence, the Chateau Genoise offers 10 luxury bedrooms and 9 bathrooms. This unique property has more than twelve acres of grounds with magnificent formal gardens, fountains, a tennis court, a chapel built in 1640 and the enchanting swimming pool surrounded by the ruins of a 17th century palace.

Chateau Genoise has been completely updated to provide a high standard of comfort and luxury while maintaining its French authenticity, charm and history. Formal and casual French antique furniture, pieces and decorations are seen all over the property.

The large gardens and terraces are perfect for outdoor entertaining. The 1,800-sq. ft. chapel provides a wonderful indoor area that could be used for events such as a concert, wedding or dinner party. Within the magnificent setting of the 17th century ruins are the tennis court and beautiful pool. Rental includes 4 hours of daily cleaning.

The bedrooms are all named after famous impressionist artists and provide luxurious accommodation. Henri Matisse is a double bedroom with queen size bed and master bathroom suite. Marc Chagal is a twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom. Paul Cezanne is a double bedroom with queen size bed and en-suite bathroom. Pierre-Auguste Renoir is a double bedroom with queen size bed and en-suite bathroom. Vincent Van Gogh is a double bedroom with queen size bed and en-suite bathroom. Paul Gauguin is a double bedroom with full-size bed and en-suite bathroom. Edouard Manet is a double bedroom with queen size bed and shared bathroom. Claude Monet is a twin bedroom that shares a bathroom. Edgar Degas is a double bedroom with full-size bed & shared bath. Henri Rousseau is a double bedroom with queen size bed & shared bathroom with Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec which is a double bedroom with 2 full-size beds. The final bedroom has a double bedroom en-suite.

Marseille International Airport is only 30 minutes away with numerous daily flights (Paris 1.25 hours) connecting to other major cities of the world. Aix-en-Provence is the nearest major town and is only 4km from the chateau. Puyricard is walkable from the chateau for your essentials.

There are endless activities in beautiful Provence: biking, hiking, golfing, tennis, dining, wine tasting, village and chateau hopping, local events, antiques, shopping and yachting, just to name a few are all readily available.

Within 45 minutes are the colourful and historic towns of Avignon, Arles, Nimes, Saint Remy, Les-Baux-de-Provence and Gordes. The glitzy yachting heavens St. Tropez and Cannes are less than 90 minutes to the south.

The Chateau chef is available for cooking your meals at 45 Euros per hour. Servers and housekeepers are 15-20 Euros per hour.

Maid service of 4 hours per day included in the rental price.

Weddings are available in the chapel within the grounds. Please enquire for further details.

- Security deposit: €5000 euros. This is payable 2 weeks before arrival and is fully refunded subject to damage inspection after departure.
- Linen & towels: All linen and bath towels are included in the rental price.
- Energy costs: Included in the rental price.
- Cleaning: 4 hours of cleaning daily is included in the rental price. Final cleaning that takes longer than 4 hours will be charged to the client.
- End of stay cleaning: Included. Please leave the property in the state that you found it.
- Arrival time: 4pm onwards.
- Departure time: 10am.
- Pets: Pets allowed subject to pet damage deposit.
- Smoking: No smoking in the property.
- It is recommended that all guests take out insurance to cover against potential cancellation and any accidental damage caused during your stay at the property.
