Le Petit Paradis

Le Petit Paradis is a charming, well restored house with lots of character and a private South facing garden. It is situated in a very calm area close to the lovely town of Lamothe Fenelon, not far away from Sarlat or Souillac. The owner worked for 15 years restoring the house and built up the house and stairs around the swimming pool with stones he collected out of the Dordogne river!

You will be greeted with a welcome basket of the region and linen and towels are included in the rental price. There is a private pool that uses natural cleaning products (not chlorine) to protect your eyes.

The property can sleep a total of 10 guests in 5 single beds, 2 double beds, 2 sofa beds and a children’s bed.

Facilties include at the property include: Kitchen with fridge, freezer, stove/cooker, oven, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. There is a separate dining room and the house also has satellite TV, telephone, DVD Player and stereo player.

Outside there is the private 11x5m swimming pool, a dining terrace, plenty of garden furniture, a BBQ, sun loungers and children's outdoor games.

Catering is available at the chateau by local catering companies (traiteurs) - typically this will cost from 30 euros per person for a 4-course meal. Alternatively it is possible to hire a cook from the local village/town who can do any cooking that you wish during your stay – they are also usually happy to buy the food and clear up afterwards. Costs are typically between 10 and 15 euros per hour. Maid service is available for between 10 and 15 euros per hour.

- Security deposit: €500. This is paid on arrival and will be refunded in full after departure subject to damage inspection.
- Linen & towels: All linen and bath towels are included in the rental price.
- Energy costs: Included in the rental price.
- End of stay cleaning: Included. Please leave the property in the state that you found it.
- Arrival time: 4pm onwards.
- Departure time: 10am.
- Pets: Pets allowed with prior consent. €15 per dog.
- Smoking: No smoking in the property.
- It is recommended that all guests take out insurance to cover against potential cancellation and any accidental damage caused during your stay at the property.
