Domaine De Favaze

The 14th Century Domaine De Favaze is one of the most charming properties within the Simply Chateau collection. This quiet and refined chateau is a beautiful countryside retreat.

The Domaine De Favaze boasts 5 huge bedrooms each with an en-suite bathroom, sleeping up to 10 guests. The house boasts an indoor winter garden salon with exotic flowers, and a superb outdoor swimming pool and terrace area. There is also an indoor sauna and Jacuzzi is to be found in the annexe.

Kola the housekeeper lives next door and is there to help you to enjoy what will be a unique holiday experience. The Domaine De Favaze shares its name with the delicious local wine, and the chateau is just a 20 minute drive from Montpellier and the coast.

There are 5 large double bedrooms, one on the ground floor, and 4 on the first floor. 10 guests and a couple of toddlers can be comfortably accommodated.
 
The chateau has an old-world kitchen, a dining room with views over the pool (and the owner is more than happy to let you use his crystal and silver for your dinners). There are 3 downstairs salons, each with its own distinctive charm. One of the salons has large stone thick walls, keeping it cool year round, making it the perfect spot to relax, play the piano, or simply watch TV. In the annexe there is a Jacuzzi and sauna for exclusive use of the guests. There is also large ground floor bedroom with bathroom suite that leads out to the outdoor terrace. 2 downstairs WCs.

On the first floor there are 4 double bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom. The tranquil winter garden, together with its exotic flowers is also found here. On the top floor there is a study.

Outside there is a private courtyard, a dining terrace and the swimming pool. To the front of the house there is a vast expanse of land where it is safe for the children to play.

The house is 25km from Nimes and Montpellier, both with a large international airport and TGV train stations (with direct links to Paris Gare Du Nord). There are beautiful towns to visit, shops are within a 10 minute walk and restaurants a 20 minute stroll.

Head to the coast! The Mediterranean is only a short drive away.

Kola the housekeeper lives next door and comes to clean for 2-3 hours a day, all included in the rental price. Should you require catering she is a superb chef, and will source entirely local produce (payable on site). Highly recommended.

- Security deposit: €1000. The security deposit is paid on arrival and will be refunded in full after departure subject to damage inspection.
- Linen & towels: All linen and towels are included in the rental price.
- Energy costs: Included in the rental price. There may be a charge for the low seasons. 
- End of stay cleaning: Included in the rental price.
- Arrival time: 4pm onwards.
- Departure time: 10am.
- Pets: Please enquire.
- Smoking: No smoking in the property.
- It is recommended that all guests take out insurance to cover against potential cancellation and any accidental damage caused during your stay at the property
