Chateau St Raphene

Situated in The Gers, famous for its sunflowers, rolling hills and Armagnac, Chateau St Raphene is set in forty acres of parkland with sweeping views of the rolling countryside.  This 13th/14th century Chateau offers wonderful original features having been completely renovated and, together with a small working farm, makes a wonderful holiday destination for families.

The Chateau accommodation comfortably sleeps 16-18 guests with a lovely private swimming pool. There are a number of wonderful dining areas where the group can sit together, including the beautiful courtyard.

The Chateau sleeps 16 – 18 people.  The ground floor of the main house has the kitchen, dining room, living room, library and kids playroom. The first floor has three beautiful and very large bedrooms with two bathrooms and separate toilet. A further feature is the tower bedroom with its own bathroom in the maison des amis. There are a further four bedrooms and two bathrooms. The bedrooms in the main house are huge.

In addition there are two baby cots and two pushchairs as well as a baby car seat and some booster seats.

Outside the chateau sits in 40 acres of grounds with a gated swimming pool, beautiful gardens, the courtyard and a separate working farm with animals.  There is also a BBQ area for outdoor dining.

The nearest airports are Toulouse and Bordeaux, both some 125km away.  You can also fly to Pau or Bergerac which are similar distances. 

The nearest town is Condom which is approximately ten minutes drive with all shopping amenities and some lovely restaurants. Golf and tennis are also available nearby.

There is a full time couple who live next door on the farm who are available to do catering, babysitting and cleaning.

- Security deposit: €1000. This is paid on arrival and will be refunded in full after departure subject to damage inspection.
- Linen & towels: All linen and bath towels are included in the rental price.
- Energy costs: Included in the rental price.
- End of stay cleaning: €150.
- Arrival time: 4pm onwards.
- Departure time: 10am.
- Pets: Pets allowed.
- Smoking: No smoking in the property.
- It is recommended that all guests take out insurance to cover against potential cancellation and any accidental damage caused during your stay at the property.
