Maison Gaudinier

Maison Gaudinier is a beautiful country house, dating back to the 16th and 18th centuries, set in 15 hectares of tranquil parkland with rare trees and a private heated pool.

The house is situated near the town of Brinay, 25km from Bourges, in the Loire Valley. The famous chateaux of the Loire are on your doorstep and make for some excellent daytrips. The house can sleep up to 14 guests in comfort.

The ground floor of the house comprises a large living room with fireplace, a TV lounge, a reading room, a dining room with fireplace, and a fully equipped kitchen with washroom.

On the first floor there are 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a separate WC and a large dressing room with a single bed in it.

On the second floor there are 3 further bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 2 WCs.

Outside the house sits in 15 hectares of gardens and parkland with a private, heated pool and a poolside kitchen area with dishwasher. There is also a BBQ and 4 bicycles available as well as 9 holes of golf in the park.

The house is surrounded by the famous chateaux of the Loire Valley and is 25km from Bourges.

There is a magnificent golf and an equestrian centre is 6km from the house. La Brinay is worth a visit for its frescoes from the 12th century.

The house is 10mins from the railway station that links Paris to Vierzon in 1h30mins.

A cook is available on request to serve meals for approx. 10 euros per hour. Maid service is also available for 10 euros per hour.

A caretaker lives in a seperate house at the entrance to the Manor.

- Security deposit: €2500. This is paid prior to arrival and will be refunded in full after departure subject to damage inspection.
- Linen & towels: All linen and bath towels are included in the rental price.
- Energy costs: €500 per week when heating is needed.
- End of stay cleaning: Included. Please leave the property in the state that you found it.
- Arrival time: 4pm onwards.
- Departure time: 10am.
