Travelling to the villa is easy - we are just 20 mintues from the A8 motorway and Nice airport. There are plenty of great local restaurants, bars and shops.
14 km from the coast, between Nice and Cannes, Tourrettes sur Loup is a beautiful medieval village perched on a narrow spur of land extending from very rocky hills, with the gorge of a small stream deep below one high wall of buildings. Tourrettes was a fortified village, where the arched passages remain through the houses in the vieux village. Appreciated by film producers from 1925, Tourrettes became a meeting place for musicians, painters, writers and poets, and saw a creation revival in the fifties. Artisan weavers settled there and, in their impetus, attracted other disciplines of quality. Today, more than thirty workshops and galleries make it a place of high standing for arts and crafts on the French Riviera.
Activities around the area include: tennis, hiking, paragliding, canyoning and horse riding. Close to the town, the Gorges du Loup are one among the curiosities of the Côte d’Azur.
Catering is available at the villa by local catering companies (traiteurs) - typically this will cost from 30 euros per person for a 4-course meal. Alternatively it may be possible to hire a cook from the local village/town who can do any cooking that you wish during your stay – they are also usually happy to buy the food and clear up afterwards. Costs are typically between about 15 euros per hour. Maid service is usually available for between 10 and 15 euros per hour.

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your lovely villa. It has a friendly atmosphere and we enjoyed the privacy it afforded and its easy access to the most exciting of French areas. The local bars and restaurants were of course, delicious."

Dear Heather, we had a really wonderful time at the villa - total chill out. We were so impressed with the area, that I think we may be looking for a villa to buy ourselves - so if you hear of any (similar to your own) we would be grateful if you could let us know!

We enjoyed our stay very much. We have stayed in a number of similar properties in the past, but we all agreed that yours was our favourite.

Thank you. We all had such a great time at the villa and thought the surrounding villages were beautiful. As for the view from Gourdon..., well just breath taking! Thank you again for a wonderful holiday.
