Villa Lou Casteou is a beautiful Provencal chateau located in the stunning Esterel mountains just 5 minutes from sandy beaches and the clear, blue Mediterranean sea.

Villa Lou Casteou was built in 1904 by Lord Amherst of London and retains its original architectural features. Over the last 4 years the villa has been lovingly restored to its former elegance and beauty with the added benefits of tasteful luxury and state of the art technology. Villa Lou Casteou has been designed to cater for large receptions, weddings and parties as well as exclusive corporate retreats.

The property provides 12 spacious, elegant, en suite bedrooms and 3 double bedrooms all individually furnished in traditional style with antiques mixed with contemporary tones. The bedrooms benefit from sea views over the Bay of St. Tropez or stunning views of the Esterel mountains. Luxury ensuite bathrooms in natural stone have been installed for your comfort and pleasure.

5 large reception rooms are available with beautiful oak parquet floors, traditional fireplaces and stunning chandeliers. The historic cloisters provide a wonderful location for atmospheric dinners and parties and can seat more than 250 guests for dinner. A home cinema and games room have been installed. This is an ideal location for private film viewings or corporate meetings to be held.

A large, modern family oak kitchen has been newly built with access to the gardens and wonderful loggias, ideal for breakfasts and lunches. This kitchen is also designed as a cookery school and boasts top end kitchen appliances. The property also has a new state of the art commercial kitchen that can cater for more than 400 guests.

The house has a large, new, heated swimming pool, beautifully situated amongst olive and pine parasol trees. Large terracces surround the pool providing a wonderfully tranquil area to enjoy sport or relax. There is a boules area situated in natural provencale countryside.

The residence is air conditioned and heated throughout and WI-FI is provided. The property also benefits from security fences, cameras and on site guardians.

The property is a 45 minutes drive from Nice airport and 30 minutes from Cannes. The residence sits in the Esterel mountains and and yet is only 5 minutes from the beaches of the Mediterranean.

This ideal location on the french riveria allows the organisation of many sporting and cultural events. The Golf and tennis Club of Valescure is a 5 minute drive, trekking and mountain biking can be organised in the Esterels, sailing and wind surfing and kite surfing is available nearby at Agay Plage and St. Aygulf. Sailing trips to St. Tropez and the Lerin Islands are available daily and fishing and diving trips can be arranged.

Lou Casteou is located just 5 minutes from the historic centre of Frejus which boasts a Roman amphitheatre and also has many medieval buildings plus a charming Provencal market square and many interesting shops, restaurants and bars.

4 hours of cleaning is included per day. Crisp, cotton white bed linen is provided as are pool towels.

At an additional cost our experienced team are available to provide a chauffeur service and babysitting service as required. Our chef and his team are available to cater for your personalised menus and parties. Sporting and cultural activities can be arranged for you as required.

Additional Info: The new professional chef's kitchen can cater for 400 guests. The cloisters provides a wonderfully romantic location for wedding parties or in case of rain or winter weddings the guests have the choice to relocate to the charming reception rooms.

- Security Deposit: A security deposit of 15,000 euros is required. This cheque will remain uncashed and will be returned at the end of the stay if no damage has been caused.

- End of Stay Cleaning: End of stay cleaning is included in the tariff but the house must be left tidy.
