Chateau Le Treillac

The enchanting Chateau le Treillac is located in Alles sur Dordogne, in the centre of the Périgord, in the middle of Bergerac, Périgueux and Sarlat.
   
Chateau le Treillac lies between “Buisson de Cadouin”, Le Bugue and Limeuil - renowned as some of the most beautiful villages in the region. The Chateau le Treillac has over 300 square feet of living space divided equally over the three floors, situated within 4 acres of grounds. It is also next to the municipal tennis courts (available to guests) and has private access to the river Dordogne where anglers can enjoy fishing at any time.

On the ground floor the central hallway leads onto a fully equipped kitchen that in turn connects through to a playroom and TV room. On the other side, the kitchen opens out onto a living room with a dining area. There is also a downstairs loo.

On the first floor is the master bedroom with king size bed and en suite bathroom. There is also a family room containing a double bed, single bed, cot & washbasin and a further double bedroom with sink and a shower-room.

On the second floor there are 4 further bedrooms, a triple with a double & a single & a sink, another triple with 3 single beds & sink, a twin room and a double room featuring a king size bed. There are also 2 shower rooms, one with lavatory.

This is a family house where the owners live when it is not rented exclusively to your group (you will be the only people within the grounds during your rental). We are happy to share the privilege of living in this wonderful house for the holiday season and have made alterations and changes to improve the ease, security, and comfort for our renters. This house will never be a 21st century house and that is exactly the reason why we love it!

The nearest airports are Bergerac (37km) or Périgueux (51km) and the local town is Limeuil 2.5km away.

The chateau is located in Alles sur Dordogne, in the centre of black “Périgord”, close to Bergerac, Périgueux and Sarlat. We are easily accessible by rail via Bordeaux, Libourne or Périgueux and our nearest station is Le Buissson (2.5 miles). We are approximately 340 miles from Paris via Orléans, Vierzon, Limoges and Périgueux.

Catering is available at the chateau by local catering companies (traiteurs) - typically this will cost from 30 euros per person for a 4-course meal. Alternatively it is possible to hire a cook from the local village/town who can do any cooking that you wish during your stay – they are also usually happy to buy the food and clear up afterwards. Costs are typically between 10 and 15 euros per hour. Maid service is available for between 10 and 15 euros per hour.

- Capacity: The property comfortably sleeps 12 adults and 5 children or teenagers.
- Security deposit: €1000. This is paid on arrival and will be refunded in full after departure subject to damage inspection.
- Linen & towels: €12 per person. This is paid directly to the owner prior to arrival.
- Energy costs: Included in the rental price (up to 500KW per week). Central heating not included.
- End of stay cleaning: Included. Please leave the property in the state that you found it.
- Arrival time: 5pm onwards.
- Departure time: 11am.
- Pets: 1 pet allowed with prior consent - please ask before booking. The Tenant must ensure that that the dog is prohibited access to the floors; the parts covered with parquet floors, the swimming pool and must respect the cleanliness of the outside area around of the Property.   The Tenant will take full responsibility for damages which his animal could cause in the Property.
- Smoking: No smoking in the property.
- Contract: The owner has a rental contract that must be signed & returned to the owner before a booking can be confirmed.
- It is recommended that all guests take out insurance to cover against potential cancellation and any accidental damage caused during your stay at the property.
