"We have safely returned from Chateau de Cheimeray, after a lovely week’s holiday. It really was ideal for us and Madame Despinoy looked after us very well. It is in the most beautiful position and wonderful for lots of children. The only downside was the weather!! We only had one sunny day and the rest of the week was rainy on and off, and pretty cold most of the time! But we still managed to use the pool quite a lot as it was nice and warm. I gather most of France had the same sort of weather so we were not alone! Nevertheless we all enjoyed the holiday and thank you for your part in arranging it all. The chateau was very comfortable with lots of room for all."
"What a great place just to sit, unwind and drink good wine, and with so many on-site activities you can't get bored either! We went with a large group of 28 but with so many different parts of the chateau and the extensive grounds to enjoy it was never overcrowded. Highly recommended."

The 15th Century Chateau de Cheimeray, situated in the heart of the Loire countryside, sits on a hill overlooking the famous river Creuse. The property has over 10 hectares of private grounds and lies next to a small village that has a restaurant and boulangerie. The Chateau de Cheimeray is ideally suited to family groups of up to 28 guests and represents great value for money.
There is a heated swimming pool, as well as lots of games for the children to play and a river that runs through the bottom of the garden. A modern tennis court is ready for use just 200m away. The Pays de la Loire region is in the heart of France and is steeped in history. Through the ages this is where the French Kings built the finest chateaux and many of these historic buildings are less than an hour away, waiting to be explored, most notably Azay-le-Rideau, Loches, Chenonceaux, Valençay and Villandry.
