*Please note that properties are priced in either Euros or GBP Sterling but are all displayed in GBP for ease of comparison. All deposits will be charged in GBP using the exchange rate on the day of the booking. The balance may go up or down in line with fluctuations in the exchange rate between now and the date that the balance is due.
Terms and Conditions
- Security deposit: There is no security deposit if hiring on a B&B basis. If hiring on a self catering basis there is a 1,000 euro security deposit that must be paid in cleared funds before arrival or in cash upon arrival. This amount will be refunded by a sterling or euro cheque within a week of departure.
- Linen & towels: All linen and bath towels are included in the rental price.
- Energy costs: These are charged in addition. In summer these should be no more than 25 euro for the week. In winter there is effective oil central heating plus two wood burners.
Wood is ten euro a night. Oil is around 70 cents a litre.
- Cleaning & catering: If you hire the chateau for a week on a self catering basis there is a compulsory mid week cleaning charge of 75 euro. Daily cleaning and catering is available upon request for those hiring on a self catering basis. An end of stay clean will be charged at 20 euro an hour - allow 5-6 hours. There are no energy or cleaning costs if you choose the B&B option, which costs an additional 144 euro a day for breakfast and cleaning for up to 12 people. This charge is paid on arrival direct to the owner.
- Arrival time: 4pm onwards.
- Departure time: 10.30am.
- Pets: Pets are not allowed.
- Smoking: No smoking in the property.
- It is recommended that all guests take out insurance to cover against potential cancellation and any accidental damage caused during your stay at the property.
