"We had a great time over there and our daughter certainly enjoyed her 18th birthday. Best Christmas that we have probably had as a family. Pascal was very friendly and helpful and we would certainly like to return to see the place in spring/summer. Regards"

The Chateau de Canapelle can sleep 15 guests in its 9 bedrooms. 5 of the bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms. There are 6 doubles, 1 twin, 1 small single, a sofa bed, 2 spare single matresses, 1 cot & 1 cotbed.
The basement has a table tennis facility, a vaulted wine cellar and a huge laundry room. The high painted ceilings and oak paneling make the rooms feel luxurious and spacious. The salon contains a useable carved oak fireplace, Bose sound system and terrestrial and SKY TV. Also on the ground floor is the ballroom/great hall, dining room, billiard room, study, and modern kitchen. The chateau has WIFI internet connection.
The first floor has 3 bedroom and bathroom suites, two of which are in a self-contained area. A further double bedroom comes with balcony. All the bedrooms have tremendous views over the gardens. The second floor has 3 children's bedrooms, a bathroom, and double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and a further large bedroom.
The Chateau is in excellent condition and still maintains its beautiful traditional features. The owners have their own children so particular attention has been paid towards the comfort and safety of the young. Most of the rooms have recently undergone redecoration and have been centrally heated and re-wired.
Outdoors the extensive and beautifully maintained 12 acres of grounds are home to a few outbuildings, a vegetable garden, a large lawn, many fruit trees and an above ground swimming pool. The Chateau was built in the late 1800’s and has had only six owners since that time. A big restoration project was undertaken towards the end of the last century and the current owners have done what they can to ensure that the Chateau maintains its original charm.
