The chateau is 70 miles north of Paris, and 120 miles south of Calais channel tunnel, in northern France. It is situated at the entrance to the town of La Fére (2900 inhabitants), where there is a range of shops and services – including a bakery 200 metres away and a super market 400 metres away.
