Chateau Aubepine is a private chateau rental for group holidays located 65km from Lyon. The property is surrounded by a beautiful garden (Jardin à la française), created by Le Nôtre (Louis XIV‘s gardener), in the middle of a forest, 3 km from the village of Fourneaux, and 7km from the nearest train station (Amplepuis).

The Château sits within a 3 hectare park, among 100 hectares of woodland. Facilities on the estate include a kitchen garden and a 11x6m swimming pool. The region is renowned for its gastronomy with an excellent range of activities for all ages in close proximity.

Guests will enjoy the benefits of excellent facilities available nearby or on the estate including the petanque court, numerous golf courses, horse riding and our private fishing lake. Those with children will find the Château to have a wide range of child-friendly activities. We also offer breakfast or delicious evening meals. Please contact Oliver's VIP Concierge to arrange.

With 4 large reception rooms (patio, salle des gardes, salon and dining room) on the ground floor in addition to the kitchen, the locker room and the entrance hall, the Château offers plenty of space for your group.

There are 5 beautiful furnished double bedrooms on the first floor with
their own private bathroom. 2 further bedrooms on the same floor ideal
for singles or children.

Breakfast is served on the Turtle Court on the east side of the Château (which enjoys the morning sun), where Henri IV once dined according to the history books. Dinner and lunch are served in the dining room with its original panelling from the XVII century. The television room in the salle des gardes (plasma TV with satellite) is very comfortable, providing an ideal spot to relax with a newspaper or book, enjoy some music, or take pleasure in some quiet time in the late afternoon. Both the charming living room and the salle des gardes are a stylish setting for a relaxing pre or post-dinner beverage. There is also a fully equipped kitchen.
