For the avid explorers who can face leaving the idyllic surrounds of the property for a day trip, there are numerous nearby festivals, villages, sports events and cultural attractions. Carcassonne, Montpellier, Le Pont du Gard and Nimes are all short drives away.
Tasting tours to local vineyards can be arranged, such as the Pic St. Loup or Gres de Montpellier. The region is also renowned for its delectable truffles. 30km away is a golf course and there are almost daily traditional markets to explore.
Good cities to visit for a day are Nimes, Besiers and Avignon and during the ski season, Mont Igual attracts plenty of snow sports enthusiasts.
